WHERE IS THE BOAT SHOW?
The Boat Show is located in downtown Fort Myers. The main entrance is at the corner of Bay Street and Dean Street. The show is
spread out through the Harborside Convention Center, The Fort Myers Yacht Basin
and along Edwards Drive.
WHAT ARE THE DATES AND HOURS?
NOV. 11TH THURSDAY 10AM – 6PM
NOV. 12TH FRIDAY 10AM – 6PM
NOV. 13TH SATURDAY 10AM – 6PM
NOV. 14TH SUNDAY 10AM – 5PM
HOW DO I GET THERE?
The physical address of Harborside is 1375 Monroe Street, Ft. Myers, FL 33901.
From I-75, take Exit 138 (MLK Boulevard). Head west into downtown (about four miles).
From U.S. 41: If you are coming from the south, watch for signs leading you into downtown just before crossing the river. From the north, take the first exit over the
river and head east on 1st Street.
Once in the downtown area, there are several cross streets that lead to
the show, between Lee Street and Monroe Street.
WHERE DO I PARK?
We are no longer utilizing off-site parking at City of Palms Park (Red Sox Stadium). A brand new
parking garage at the corner of Monroe Street and MLK Blvd. means there is
plenty of downtown parking to accommodate the show.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Admission is $8.00 per person, with children under 12 free.
WHAT KIND OF BOATS WILL I FIND?
Visitors to the show can leisurely stroll along the docks and inspect everything from
off-shore fishing boats to luxury yachts to dinghy’s to kayaks. There is no other show on Florida’s west coast
with a more complete lineup of boats.
In-water are both new and Brokerage boats. Indoors and outside are hundreds of
trailerable boats of every style imaginable.
For the first time this year there will also be a pre-owned boat section
with late model, good condition pre-owned boats on display.
WHAT IF ALREADY OWN A BOAT?
This is far more than just a display of boats. We have the largest display of accessory items of any Boat Show on Florida’s west coast including displays of
electronic equipment, motors, fishing equipment, accessories and other items
from manufacturers all over the world. Plus you will find a wide variety of service
companies and educational information to help you get the most out of you time
on the water. And, with nautical
clothing and gift items, this is a great chance to kick start your Christmas
shopping for your family and friends who enjoy the boating lifestyle.
“Boating Lifestyle Area.” You sure do not want to miss this area. We are creating a “FORT MYERS
FISHING VILLAGE”, sponsored by Nautical Mile Publications. There will be a variety of seminars on fishing,
boat safety and more. There will be tackle
displays and local guides will be on hand to answer your questions about
fishing in Southwest Florida.
Check out the latest in Diving equipment and talk to local diving enthusiasts from the
Caloosa Dive Club. Dive experts can
give you loads of information about where to go or to help get started if you
are a novice to the sport.
There will be a kayaking Section, with daily seminars (including fishing from kayaks), products
displays, and information about local trails will be featured. You can throw a kayak on your boat and open
up a whole new world of ways to enjoy the water.
The U.S. Coast Guard will again have their interactive Boating safety trailer displaying a variety of safety equipment and PFD’s (life jackets).
Your $8.00 show admission also include admission to the new “Art of the Olympians” Museum. Located adjacent to the Boating Lifestyle
Section and the Yacht Basin Pub at the end of Hendry street, this new
attraction features artwork created by former Olympic Athletes.
WHAT IF I DO NOT OWN A BOAT? ARE THERE OTHER ITEMS?
There will be one-of-a-kind products such as apparel, sun glasses and boat shoes or you can plan your next fishing trip by obtaining information on resorts and marinas.
DO YOU HAVE FOOD AND DRINKS?
There is the “Centennial Food Court” with a wide variety of specialty themed food
stations, thirst quenching drinks and ample seating. A great place to get off
your feet and relax in the shade of an umbrella. Want a little more action and
some music? Then check out the Yacht Basin Pub, a real crowd pleaser with cold
beer, wine and cocktails.
WHO PUTS ON THIS SHOW?
The Fort Myers Boat Show is owned by the Southwest Florida Marine Industries
Association. The association, whose membership includes
virtually every boat dealer and marine related company in Southwest Florida,
has protected the rights of boaters and promoted boating and the marine industry
in Southwest Florida for more than 35 years. The association also owns the FORT
MYERS SPRING BOAT SHOW, held at the Lee Civic Center in March and the CHARLOTTE
