Boating Education Classes in Fort Myers

The San Carlos Bay Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons will be having the following classes-

Americas Boating Course March 20 and 27, four hours each day resulting in a Florida

boating course certificate.

Digital Charting March 6 Learn to use software and your lap top to chart courses.

Local Water/Local Chart April 3 Learn how to read and use chart 11427, the nautical

chart for the Fort Myers area.

The classes are held at the squadron classroom. located at 16048 San Carlos Blvd. (at the corner of Kelly Road in Fort Myers) Call the squadron office at 466-4040 or visit the squadron web site www.scbps.com for more information.

Do you own a sailboat? if not, one of the squadron members owns a company called Windpath Sailing located at the Burnt Store Marina. They own a couple of brand new sailboats. They sell fractional ownership in the boats and teach you how to sail it. I prefer power boating but if i was into sailing it would be the way I would go.
